Yesterday Big Bore called me out to the front porch to see what he’d spotted in our front yard elm tree….two wide-eyed screech owls. Of course, we had to get out the binoculars and the camera and get acquainted with them. Owls have never roosted at Casa de la Flaming Bore before. We are hoping they are eating all the garden-invading grasshoppers and are managing to keep cool during these hot August days. We love having Hooters hanging around!

WHAT A HOOT

Cats are inside and clueless. Jeff spotted a third one today.
