Being in the 3rd grade sure wears a girl out! Sweet Neighbor Girl came over after school today, new rice sock in tote, and swore she would NOT doze off because she was sitting on the sofa and not lollygaggling on the recliner. Thirty minutes later....zzzzzzzzz."We really must be the most boring people around!" I told Big Bore. We tried to rouse her, but that just caused her to roll onto her side into a kid-sized ball until her mama arrived to retrieve her.
Tomorrow her class takes a field trip to the circus in the city. I'm taking bets that there will be no naps taken and her motor mouth will be yapping at full speed the entire time. She's just resting up today for all the fun under the Big Top tomorrow.
