The snow has stopped and the sun is shining--but it's bitterly cold and windy, so I only went outside twice today: once to fetch the newspaper on the porch and then to make the rounds about town. Didn't see any snowmen builders, school was cancelled for the day, but did spot a few hardy kids bouncing on a backyard trampoline, without coats."That used to be me when I was a kid," I told Big Bore. "Crazy."
Now I am content to while away the wintery hours reading a good book, curled under a blanket, dozing off now and then, in semi-hibernation. A few years will do that to a person.

TOO cold for anything today. Even Taylor couldn't take 5 minutes of sleding :) I did not argue when she said "lets go home."
