Well, I'm not usually a big horse fan but I liked the dusting of snow on its back so made J. back up the car so I could get the pic. He thought we should give the cows and geese equal time, but I passed on them. The ducks at State Street Bridge got away from me before I could focus in.
I agree with Sarah. That is one of the best snow horse pics I have EVER seen! I love it.
As for cleaning the roads, the city's budget for snow removal and upkeep is close to a million dollars and they use about 200 tons of salt if not more. They are usually pretty good getting the main routes clear, the side streets are last.
